Scary night!

Poor DS had a febrile seizure and had to be taken to ER in an ambulance. He had his adenoids out on Friday then had cold yesterday. His fever spiked quickly and he had a seizure. It was the scariest thing to watch. sad.gif Thankfully I had read about the in Baby 411 and knew they weren't too dangerous. ER checked him out and waited for temp to come down. We were there for only a few hours. Poor DH had an awful Father's Day until we brought him home smiling and ready for bed.

So as an FYI, it isn't too common but be on the lookout if your LO's spike a high fever.

The saddest thing was we were next to a small baby strapped down in a neck collar. DCS and social workers were in there. I cried for that poor baby more when I got here and knew DS was ok.
