I bit through my uncle's thumb to the bone once I was told (I was 2, don't recall). I had my last at 5 - if he had one, he might have another - so as soon as you get a tiny fever take care of it so it doesn't climb.
Mine were set off at 103 or more.
I don't recall them - except one ER visit that I eneded up having to stay due to a severe illness
