Sorry you're feeling so emotional. The ironic thing is that you can probably blame some of your angst about the hormones
on the hormones, but I digress...

And, I know there's much more to it than that. A question: what has your P4 been doing over the past couple weeks? I ask b/c I got my P4 results back today and it had bounded up to 80-something even though I went down a little on the support, which makes me think the placenta may be starting to kick in. Maybe if this hasn't happened yet, it might happen in the next couple weeks, which might make you feel a little better going down?
I'll let others chime in with their experiences, but I'm sure that (just like with good BBQ) low and slow is probably the way to do it.

If I were you, I would think that tapering over about 3wks makes sense (of course, depending on how the repeat bloodwork looks along the way).
All that being said, I'm starting to wonder if
maybe we are up-playing the importance of long-term P4 on this board. For some people I'm sure it was very important, but maybe we are applying that importance too widely and freaking ourselves out for no good reason. Granted, we all are better safe than sorry, but we're also better sane than crazed... Just a thought (and I am certainly as guilty as anyone!)

.
Sending good vibes- you're doing great and I really think you will be just fine!
