Karma- I'm not usually a very superstitious person, but I can't even count how many times I've knocked on wood since I've been pg, and yes, I do fear that buying a bunch of stuff will "jinx" me. Of course, taking a step back, I know that (as my husband likes to say) "there is no jinx fairy waiting to get you" but sometimes I have to indulge myself a bit...
Amy- I can totally understand why you would have wanted to wait until 24/25 weeks and it must have been both really hard and exciting to make that first purchase. I'm still working up to seriously considering buying anything substantial- we went to Buy Buy Baby for the 1st time this weekend, but wasn't yet ready to start a registry. Baby steps I guess... Hope you and Lorelei are doing well!
