yup, double whammy!

this will be short but to your question, yes, kidney stone and fibroid. they strained my urine for the past 3 days and see little crystals coming out in it. this morning there was much less so that's a good sign this thing has passed or is almost done. not pleasant let me tell you. i will go for another u/s later.

the dreaded fibroid- we knew going into this pg was there, it was 2.3cm and has grown to a little over 4 cm. as it was explained to me, as my uterus is growing, it's now pressing on that fibroid and causing alot of pain in my back and in the front of my belly. its something they just have to keep an eye on as there is nothing else they can do but offer me pain meds. i'm trying to hold out on anything sronger than a tylenol and that's just because i just don't feel good about putting anything but tylenol into my body even though they say it's "safe"- that's just me (i have a pretty high threshold for pain and am dealing with it for now, if it becomes worse we will go from there in terms of taking something stronger than a tylenol) they tell me women give birth with even bigger fibroids BUT every case is different and it depends on location and all that. it's something thankfully they can monitor and hopefully if it brings on PTL, they can stop it with meds, though of course they can't say definitely that it will be "okay". i know that no pregnancy is guaranteed and i am determined to stay very calm and im proud of myself for not freaking out. my husband brought me my affirmations and i say them alot while resting in here. hoping they will let me loose maybe tonight or tomorrow. thanks for checking on me and i hope you're feeling well.
