Thanks for all of your replies! DH is totally against me saying a word... he's probably more superstitious and cautious than I am... well, not really, but in this case it's a matter of being practical, not telling for the sake of telling.

I tried to delay it a week, but when I called the store, they said there would be a rush shipping fee or something like that. I think they just want to order them all at the same time. Either way, I'd arouse suspicion.

I looked the dress up and it looks to have a higher waist, so I think it could totally work, but I would still need to be measured anyway.

We'll see how this plays out!
