"Look at the latest picture of Mariah Carey in US Weekly...she's put on a TON of weight, and you know she has personal trainers, nutritionists, etc. There's no hope for any of us!"

"There's no hope for any of us!"

None of those aids mean anything unless you're following their advice to a T and who knows if she is? Besides it has a lot less to do with that and a lot more to do with body type/metabolism, etc. If you're gonna be huge when pg. NOTHING that you do that is healthy will change that.

Where all those aids come in is AFTER baby is born and most celebrities are known for passing on b/fing so that they can starve themselves thin. Either way, I think they are a bad example for the average woman.

      Just my 10 pence.

fwiw, I was thin as paper with ds#1. Belly didn't pop till 3rd tri. and I barely looked pregnant every. With ds #2, belly popped at 6 wks and I was as huge as a buffalo......and I'm a fitness instructor and personal trainer - so it just goes to show. It has nothing to do with working out or even to some extent, diet.
