In some states you can make contracts with the "adoptive" parents. You could interview them or, if they are on the road to adoption, they might have had home studies done.
We really are struggling with this, we really want to help others, like ladies on this board, and we like the idea that our child might have biological siblings out there, just in case. On the other hand, it's very hard, for all the reasons mentioned above.
We would want to meet the adoptive parents, interview them, make some sort of contract. We can't deiced if we would want pictures.
Anyway, thank you for your thoughts, the DH and I will talk about them, too.
