I had similar results--1:188. I did a ton of research and found that the process of IVF makes the blood test far less reliable. A study was done in Denmark that showed that the blood tests should use different norms in IVF patients and that the neck fold was key (and yours is good). We decided we would proceed with the pregnancy no matter what so I did not do an amnio, but I did do a very in-depth anatomy scan at 16 weeks. Since there were no soft markers the doc revised my chance to 1:270 and everything turned out fine in the end. Hang in there and please know that your risk is probably a LOT lower than these odds just because you are IVF. I'm running to the airport but will try to dig up that study later.
