  • Having some odd symptoms ~ does this sound like an infection or imbalance (TMI warning)?

      Ok this is a little embarrasing, but I need some help. I'm 18.5 weeks and I feel like I'm having some symptoms of a UTI or possibly a yeast infection, but I'm just not sure if that's the case or if I should move my OB appt up to take a look. I just started feeling like this maybe last night, but definately today.

      I'm feeling generally icky, but very dry (almost irritated) down south. Not itchy, just irritated. Oddly, I haven't had much discharge at all - barely any today. I'm having to pee more often than usual, no pain, but just this icky dry feeling. Like the paper will chafe me.

      Could the lack of discharge signal some kind of hormone imbalance - I've never heard of having little discharge in the 2nd trimester.

      Has anyone else had these symptoms?

      I have an OB appt scheduled with my favorite doctor for Friday am, but I'm wondering if this can wait or if I should move it up (I would end up just having to see whoever at the practice - bummer)...
