Obviously - you're not the first case to come along with this issue. You would think they would have some protocol in place on how they decide to cover meds or not. Does it depend on WHO is prescribing it? Maybe this is something you need to research so that you can figure out how to get your meds covered for the rest of your pregnancy.
I've never had any luck with appeals when it came to meds, but I have a difficult policy altogether.
As for medical insurance - the only time I've had any luck is when they told me one thing on the phone one day and another on another day. Apparently, they record their conversations and they had to back trace and listen to all of the conversations to confirm that they did tell us what we said they told us. This is how we got ONE visit with Coopers covered, but we did not get any other appointments covered. |
