      There really is so much support. I'm sure every state has something similar to this group in MA:

      I am proud to be the God mother of a teenager with DS and her parents are very involved with this group. The support for new and expecting parents is especially strong. What I like about this organization as well as the Special Olympics is that the focus is always on what people with DS can do, not what they can't do. I wish your friend the very best.
