      hi mel.
      i'm pretty sure that your immunity protects the fetus. isn't it crazy how worrisome random things just seem to come up out of nowhere? i got stung by a bee yesterday and had a minor freak out that i was going to have a terrible immune response that would cause a miscarriage.

      and, btw, congrats on your big news. a boy - that is really exciting!
