Exhale! Ok. When my P4 had dropped to 19.5 at just under 5 weeks, RE told me the same thing- bloods won't pick up Endometrin and told me not to worry because the level was much higher than 19.5.
I think I read something about P4 causing penile issues if it's a boy. I also read something (and not sure if this is even true) about it causing cleft palate?
I hate that no matter how many success stories I see on the boards (and there are many), there are a few P4 stories that make me panic. Then I think "why go off it, I don't want the lack of P4 to be the cause for a miss" I know the P4 range is wide. It IS scary though.
Mel, did you come off it slowly (I'm sorry if you answered this in another post, I forget in this moment as i'm writing this) or did you stop it all at once. My OB had told me its okay to just stop it at 12 weeks but I told her I wasn't comfortable with that. She said when the placenta kicks in, you don't need it anymore. But how do you know when the placenta has kicked in? I really need to have a conversation with her next time I see her about a game plan for coming off and for how long I should have my P4 tested if at all, once coming off of it. I know she'll agree to whatever I want to do, but I'm not really sure what or how to do it. Anyway, I'm glad things are going so well for you, you're getting there!!
