Crap - red spotting (m/c ment)

I was so excited to see the baby the other day...now I have some red spotting. I know this can be normal, but in my 1st pregnancy I had this same thing and it was a m/c.

I have a scan scheduled for Wed. The spotting is not heavy but def red. Why do these things always happen on a saturday??? Should I call my doctor? go to the ER? not sure what to do

I would call your ob; perhaps you can go in for a scan again today. Take it easy and rest. I had red spotting in all pg and it was okay.

Try to remain calm.

Hang in there

I am sorry for the scare. It's no fun to bleed in pg (even though as you may know 1 in 3 of women with successful pgs do).

From what I know, if the bleeding (or cramping) does not become severe and you don't have a fever, then hang tight. If you need reassurance, please call your dr. That's what they are there for too.

On my mom's side of the family periodic bleeding is common with pgs. A couple pgs were lost, may more were successful. My cousin got "AF" right on time the first three months of her pg, and her son is now 20 yo.

Hugs.

Try to relax

I am so sorry you are having this right now. I think I would call my OB, waiting until monday is too stressful. Just try to hang in there & it is very common to have bleeding. Just try to take it really easy.

Wait

Unfortunately if you are miscarrying, there is nothing the doc can do. You don't need to go in to ER or see anyone unless it becomes very heavy.

On to up side, red spotting can be anything so you just have wait and see at your scan.
