Just wondering...

Hi ladies!

Hope you all are enjoying this nice weather! I can't believe how many July babies there will be! It is so exciting!

Just wondering if any of you might have some insight on a couple of things.

One: I got food poisoning on Friday. Lasted only a handful of hours but it was scary. Do you think that would have any affect on the little one?

Two: I keep getting these pain in my pubic bone area down low (not sure how to really describe it). My doctor said that was normal and it was the hormones softening the area in preparation. It hurts enough sometimes that it wakes me up and I can't ride my bike. Anyone else getting this?

Thanks, ladies!

All the best,
Holly

a friend of mine had it

and it was really painful. she couldn't sleep at night. She had to go to chiropractor after the baby was born to adjust some bones. Not sure if it were two related problems (for example some bones shifted due to softenning). She is ok now and the baby is perfectly helthy, ttt. wink.gif

I was glad to see your post - I thought I was the only one with this very odd pain!

The pubic bone hurts all the time. I keep forgetting to ask my OB about it but was going to ask him at this week's appointment. Your doc's explanation sounds perfectly reasonable, though. I will let you know if mine says anything different.
