Hi there,

I will be 6 weeks tomorrow, and don't have morning sickness yet...is this normal? A few times this week I have felt gaggy, but not to the point of puking! When did you guys get morning sickness?

Morning sickness (ds ment)

With my first I didn't get morning sickness until 9 weeks. I think it varies from person to person.

Never had it with DS

Not seemign to have it now either (less than 6wks). Didn't get sore boobs until 10wks - never really "felt" the pregnancy stuff, except I craved polish dogs from 7-11 and hot wings.

I never had it

... and some people just don't get it. There were a couple of days where I felt a little unsettled, but some crackers or a meal would get rid of that... it also wasn't until much later, maybe 8 or 10 weeks.

Between 7 and 8 Weeks

November 12 2009, 4:04 PM

I was just like you...worried about NOT having it at 6 weeks. Then, by 8 weeks I had it full force. I NEVER actually got sick but I felt sick all day and it was way worse in the evenings. Maybe you will be one of the lucky ones to not get it at all. Mine got better around week 14 and was gone by week 16.

Good Luck to you!

Kelly

I was queasy

November 12 2009, 4:41 PM

from about week 6 to week 14. I never actually threw up though. But there were times there where all I could handle eating was white bread toast and plain white rice. I'm kinda glad to be back on real food again happy.gif

my experience

November 12 2009, 5:00 PM

With my first I started around 7 - 8 weeks. With this one, I didn't have any at all. The only thing I had this time around in my first tr was extreme hunger no matter what I ate. Oh and major grouchiness which I didn't have the first time around. Everyone and every pregnancy is different. Don't worry if you don't get it.

Never had it...

Only queasy a couple of times if I hadn't had something to eat recently. I was hungry VERY often throughout the whole 1st tri (and 2nd too!).

not really

November 12 2009, 7:17 PM

Just needed to eat something more frequently or I felt a little nauseous, but I never tossed my cookies when pg (w/ dd or yet w/ this one). Oh wait, when I was pg w/ dd and was walking my dogs one morning one of them rolled in cat poop in my neighbors yard, and I yakked. I think I might have done that anyway, pg or not! happy.gif

I was worried last pregnancy when I wasn't getting it early on. By 9 weeks I couldn't keep anything down and ended up fighting to maintain weight throughout the rest of the pregnancy b/c I couldn't eat and keep ANYTHING down. Hope you don't get it!

but pregnancy hunger? Now that was another story. I could eat a horse 10 mins. after eating a cow, lol.

Congrats and consider yourself lucky so far. You're probably not off the ms hit list yet.

Z.
