I have been hanging around for a few years now, regularly looking for hope and advice so I feel it is important to share my news although I hope I'm not temting fate....
It is very early to announce this BUT if I give anyone a bit of hope I am happy.................I am 5 weeks pregnant, I did a test last Friday and it was a BFP. It was a shock, my history isn't good and I haven't had a pregnancy in 2 years, not even a 'good' cycle, a few + ovulation tests but then no temp rise!
I had spotting all last week after returning from holiday (too much wine obviously didn't do any harm) altough I hadn't taken my temp for months it was 98 at 6.30 am, this is really good for me, anyway I did the test just to rule it out and move on(again)and will on my impending period. I did feel ovulation could be possible on holiday as I had 'the signs'
Without going into every detail, I am having daily progesterone injections and pessaries and have a scan next week @ 6 weeks.
I am very cautious and quite weepy as I want this so much but we have a few obstacles with my history of m/c and the discovery DH has a balanced translocation.
All I can do is look after myself (currently off work with heavy cold) and keep my fingers crossed. I will up-date next week with scan results.
I know lots of you in this section have had success but if anyone is reading this still living in hope.....I am pregnant (early I know) my FSH has been 90+,I have had 2 cycles cancelled due to no response......don't give up hope.
