I just had my weekly ultra sound and Im concerned because the heartbeat was at 80 BPM. The ultrasound tech it should be at least 90. Of course dr. Google has me very nervous too so Im hoping someone can provide some reassurance.

What did your Dr say Tanya? Or do you do remote Dring and you have to wait for Check to get back to you?? What was the h/r last week? You're a little over 7 weeks right? Sorry, so many questions...wish I could provide you some reassurance but I've just never heard h/r's that low at 7 weeks. I'm thinking of you big time girl!

I'm doing remote monitoring so I need to wait for Cooper to call back. I am not sure what the heartrate was last week becuase it was the first time they saw it, I didn't think to ask.

I dunno what to say ... really don't have much info about low HB. I just hope everything turns out just fine and its just one off case of low HB.

I'll let you know what Cooper says. Everything I have read doesn't sound good though. I just wish for once I could have an unventful appointment.

But I wanted to let you know you're in my thoughts and prayers.

I am just thankful that my DH was able to come to the appointment in case GOD forbid something happens he saw the HB. It is absolutely amazing to watch.

As hard as it is, wait to see what Cooper has to say. I have been in your shoes before with a slow h/b and Dr. Google was not my friend. I have my fingers crossed for you and will be looking for an update later. Also, feel free to email me if you want.

I'm sorry every appointment you have seems to leave you worried I did not have the heart rate measured before 8 weeks, so I can't give much advice on this topic. But I am thinking of you and hoping you get some reassurance soon.

I had a quite low hb at my week 9 ultrasound and it scared me to death--but everything turned out okay.

Your response comforted me. It isn't looking good but I am trying so hard to be strong right now.

Well Dr. Brasille called me. She said the heart beat was low and there wasnt really any growth since last week. There was also a note that the yolk sac was enlarged which isnt a good sign.
The beta did continue to rise. I think it went from 13,000 to 20,500 but she said more importantly was the ultra sound results (not good).
She was so compassionate and told me not to stop my meds yet because there is a always a miracle but wanted me to be prepared. I need to get a repeat ultrasound next week and be prepared for no heartbeat. She said I would need to get a D&E if that is the case.
I am completely numb right now. I had a complete break down at work so I left and came home. I am comforted by the fact that my wonderful husband was with me today and was able to see the heartbeat.

Please pray for the baby; It was a miracle I made it this far and Im not ready to give up yet.

I feel sick for you right now. Having been in the situation of getting one bad piece of news after another in a pregnancy, my heart feels your pain.

I'm so sorry you didn't get good news today. Miracles can happen, the Dr is right. With my first pregnancy, my RE warned me of an enlarged yolk sac at my 6 week ultrasound I believe...the very next week, it was fine. However, I did m/c 6 weeks later, but it was a chromosomally normal girl, so who knows why I actually m/c'd. Also, I did not have issues with the h/r, so I don't want to give you too much false hope. I've read quite a few studies about low h/r's...mine were always so high, and google searching led me to studies that showed whether high & low fetal h/r's were indicative of m/c. I'm sure you've been reading some of the same things.

I've had countless sob stories shared on this board, so I truly know how you feel. And I know how you hurt right now. For me, curling up on the couch with DH and watching a movie with loads of buttery popcorn and candy helped some. Or make yourself some delicious comfort food...for me, the cooking was therapeutic and brought me back to reality a bit. I always make cheesy vegetable soup. Otherwise, DH & I just sat around, talked about it forwards and backwards and it was just an awful cycle of emotional turmoil, when the fact was, we didn't know what the future held for sure. So if I could give you any sage advice, try not to dwell on it for too long.

Its awful to hear what Dr has said ... in spite of what Dr said I really wish this one to work for you. Miracles do happen and I just pray that this is the one for you.
I've always been taught that there's lot of strength in prayers so pray for your baby. Talk to your womb and send comforting thoughts. It all might sound insane but soothes me almost always.
And u can always come back to the forum to get your head straight and yell out your frustration. You can e-mail me if u want. let me know i'll share my id.

Usually when one of the doctors call, it is never a good call. Still, I would wait and see what happens. I believe in seeing things through to the end. I hope the heartbeat rises. Dr. B called me when I had my BO. Dr. Choe had done that transfer.

However this turns out, it is just a step in your unfinished journey and we are all with you, holding your hand all the way. I don't know why, but it's incredibly rare for any one of us to get pregnant and stay that way without extraordinary pain and challenge. It can feel like a curse upon a curse at times. I will be keeping you close in prayer and hoping that this baby pulls through. If not, try again as soon as you can as many of us have and keep at it until you are holding your baby. I have complete faith that it will happen for you and your DH.

I appreciate the kind thoughts and prayers from everyone. I am so very blessed that I have a wonderful husband who comforted me last night and wonderful friends who are genuinely concerned. This is by far the most difficult part of journey so far.
