AMH .24May 15 2012 at 7:43 PM | Katie (no login) |
| Hi all- I still lurk after my successful IVF In 2010- boy Henry born 11/24/10 -18 months old now...! Time flies. Trying for number 2. When I started this journey in 2007, dr Davis didn't test AMH. My highest FSH was 19 and that didn't stop me from having my Henry! But what do u think about my AMH? I was assuming it'd be low. After all, my fertility isn't getting better as I age! I am 37 now. What's the deal with AMH? How low have yours been with success? Gearing up for IVF in August, but trying naturally. Thanks all and congrats! |

My sister's AMH was measured at .25 and her FSH at 20 and she is currently 12 weeks pregnant. This is a natural conception which surprised her doctors and she is thrilled. Her AFC was also only 2. She did undertake 3 months of weekly acupuncture and modified her diet to include more healthy foods. She also was on DHEA but that was strictly monitored by her RE.
Best of luck to you because there is certainly hope! : )

Seems like there have been lots of successes with .1's since you've had your LO. Maybe Mrs. A? Anna? Erin? |

I just cycled at Cornell in March with Dr. D and he tested my AMH as well. Looks like they don't test FSH anymore. Mine was a .24 as well! I will email you with details so as not to bore anyone else on the thread but just wanted to give you a shout out and wish you Good Luck!!!!! xxoo |

Nina1867 (no login) | My AMH was less than 0.19... | May 29 2012, 8:42 AM |
And I am 28 weeks pregnant with natural conception. My fsh was 21 and afc of 2! My doctor was baffled but happy I got pregnant without his help, I had miscarried before (which he said was also some sort of miracle). In fact my AMH might've been lower but the lab the doc used wasn't specific enough to measure below 0.19. I got 2 different opinions, one doctor didn't care to test AMH once he saw my FSH and AFC, while another doctor who I decided not to work with did the AMH test. Don't give up hope!!! I am also a lurker on this board! Between work and just being plain tired it's hard to check in often! Not to mention I forgot my password to login! |
