buffing plastic

by beRto (no login)

hey guys,

I've finished rebuilding my '86 Spree, and now I'm in the process of cleaning it up and making it look good. Any suggestions? Can I buff the plastic without damaging it?

Also, the stickers were removed from the side fairings. Unfortunately, the layer of 'goo' remains behind. How can I get rid of this? I've tried lighter fluid without success. I was thinking gasoline or diesel next; what do you think?
