Look at the wheel hub and the brake itself. You will see the cable nut on the end of the cable. Put small wrench or a vise grip just before the nut, being careful not to clamp it on the cable itself and remove the nut. You don't want fray the cable or twist it more than one turn removing or replacing the nut.
