1982 Urban Express: Oil leak at top of case where wire comes out

My issue:
I just picked up a very clean 1982 Hona Urban Express. It leaks oil after a while from the top of the oil casing where the wires come into the case (little square rubber houseing seats the wires).
It only leaks when running. I think I have too much oil in the pan????
How much oil does a 82 urban express case hold? There is NO dipstick, and you cannot see down in the pan to check the level.
