I just inherited a 1982 honda nu50 with 652 miles on the odometer. It has been sitting for about 10 years in an enclosed garage. It appears to be in excellent condition except for rotting tires, old battery (which was removed) and some dust. No corrosion and gas tank must have been drained as it looks clean. I need some help with parts to start off with. I plan on tires (tubes?), battery and carb kit. What other things do I need to look for before trying to start it up. I have turned over the engine slowly with the kick pedal and compression feels strong. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
