your on the right track..

yes these tires take tubes, and the front and rear are different sizes, one is 17 inch the other is 14 inch

any motorcycle shop can get them for you .. also you will need the battery before you start the engine , Unless you remove/disconnect all the lights..

a new headlight is over $30 , it's wise not to burn it out..

the lighting circuit will go up to 50 volts AC voltage when there is no battery..online

remove the spark plug and squirt a little injector oil into the hole and turn the crank a few times 'EASY' to spread the oil and let it set soit can losen the rings..

also asquirt or two into the carb mouth stright into the inake to lube the crank..

do this the day before you plan to start it.

it's likely there's a little varnish in the carb and tank and you may need to spray carb cleaner into the carb to start the engine..

your biggest headache will be the autochoke.

that's the little rectangle on the right front of the cylinder..

DO NOT open it..

disconnect the 3 hose ..' one at a time ' at the other end not at the choke. spray carb cleaner in each hose.
and put the hose back on where it came from

do these one at a time so as not to get confused..and soak over night before running your express.

i recommend doing this now.. and everyday untill you have the tires and battery.

there is an oil tank under the seat..

drain it out and put in new motorcycle injector oil..
any name brand is good.. I like havoline..

use injector oil NOT weedeater oil.

try to stay with one brand or you will be retuning the carb every time you add a different oil to the tank.

this oil lubes the crankcase and cylinder and is in the fuel mix that gets burned

also read through or google search this site aboutthe autochoke and carb adjustments..

with a little care you can get the bike running and broke in with out adjusting anything..

yeah it won't run perfect when first started but it will get better and better as things loosen up..

the more you adjust now while things are gummy, the more you will have to adjust later as things clean out while riding around.

everything you adjust now, will have to be re-adjusted latter.. the less you tweak it now, the happier you will be later
the more you ride these bikes the beter they get.
