Honda express 1 & 2 parts interchangeable?

I have a Honda express 2. the problem is that the piston is broken along with the rings. I have managed to find a Honda express 1 at a moped salvage yard and was wondering if the pistons were interchangeable. Also any ideas on making it go faster. I would like to push it to its limits w/o doing much damage so that it will last a little while. Right now i have no idea what the max speed is does any one know?
