Jesse, You are going to have to get a rear wheel to fit the 82 and you are going to have to switch to cdi ignition or remove old points system from the 79 and place on the 82. the other stuff should swap out. What are you going to do with the old engine? Don't won't to discourage you but I just made the same swap you are about to make, got the thing going and about 7 or 8 miles later, the 2-speed trans came apart. Went to the honda place to buy new parts - discontinued! This was a NOS Honda 2-speed. Did'nt have a mile on it! I don't know if this was a problem with the 2-speeds or not but just wanted to let you know. Anyway, the reason I asked about your extra motor is because I could use one or the other if are interested in selling one.
