which moped is FAST ?

After adding a small gas engine (Honda GX31) to my bicycle, I learned I really like the idea of mopeds (which is why I am here). Peddling on bicycle paths with the engine off is nice and I could use a lot more power.

So, what is a very fast moped that I can find in the U.S., without needing 1000s of modifications ? I guess I'm looking for a moped with 49cc, well over 2 HP, and goes faster than 30 mph UPHILL.

Could I register a 100c moped as a motorcycle if necessary?
