OK..

lets assume that you didn't remove the tranny cover or touch any ajustments, like the tranny release lever by the carb or tighten the rear brake..

that would mean that your new piston and cylinder are too tight / have too much friction... or you have really way too much compression..

did you oil evrything when you put it togethere
the rings, the piston, the piston/rod pin..

you where careful with the cylinder alignment so the piston is centered, the cylinder isn't a fraction off center.. pinching the piston..

me.. i would pull the cylinder off..

MAKE sure the tranny spring is released or you damage something or get hurt.. like a broken finger
