I had the leak problem. Just go to a boat supply house, and buy an inline gas shut-off. (Actually, I bought mine at Home Depot). Cut the hose from the tank to the carburator and place the inline shut-off between the two hoses. Shut the gas off when you are not using the bike. Problem solved.
