Hello I just purchased a very used 1980 honda express with the nc 50 engine. I am tring to find out if I have a bad gas/oil tank or not. I cleaned it out and added gas in the gas spout and same with the oil and I checked back a few days later and happened to notice that the gas is getting in the oil side and the same with the gas side. Is this normal because it doesnt make sence to me. because you have the oil injecter that puts the oil into the carb. Just note that I havent been able to try to start it yet because I the starter assembly came to me in pieces with a broken spring that I have to replace and have been having a hard time tring to find one and Also I have to trace out the electrical because of no spark.
