one more thing I forgot to suggest, it wouldnt hurt to pull off your air filter cover and make sure the filter is both clean and in good shape. They like to fall apart after 20 years.
Any place that deals with small engines can sell you a new foam thing that will fit it for a reasonable price if needed.
