the cable has too pass thru the spring ,and the throttle slide, slip into the slot/hole in the bottom so that the cable pulls the throttle body up, the spring pushes back down,

the groove on the side of the throttle body fits over a rib inside the carb ( the slide body only goes in one way.. unless you force/hammer it..

there is a little 'W ' clip on the inside the slide body goes around the spring that is easy to loose
