fuel leak on nc50 and cold start

On July 28, I posted for help on a leaking oil tank sight glass. I fixed it with a glue. Liquid Nails #2 to bond rubber and glue. Once that was sealed, I could prep for the tank liner, however I had to coat the oil tank too, so the sight glass is now cloudy. Good news. No leaks and I don't have to run premix. The tank liner kit was purchased at a local motorcycle salvage shop. "Kreem" works great, but it is a project that once you start you have to follow the time line or you have to start over. Also, remember to remove the in tank fuel filter (which requires digging) and oil filter (which should come out when you disconnect the line) before you prep.
Now, regarding the cold start, I have two of these 1981 nc50's that are very stock and complete. No manuals. One starts in three or four kicks and runs great. One starts in fifty to one hundred kicks and runs great. It starts a lot sooner if I remove the air cleaner and choke it with my hand. I am thinking vacuum and not spark. What are the three vacuum hoses connected to the component on the cylinder head and what function do they serve? The hoses are labeled one, two, and three. Thanks.
