before you start the engine

try loosing the Drain screw on the very bottom of the carb , too see how much gas is in the carb..

then turn the fuel petcock on.

gas should continue to run out of the carb..

if it dies not then, you are not getting enough gas into the carb

this could be a clogged fuel petcock/valve or it could be a clogged fuel filter ( located on the valve but inside the tank )

either way you will need to remove the petcock to clean things out
