When the tranny fluid level is too high, EXACTLY ther problem you describe happens. Sluggishness and slow or NO upshift occurs.I'm looking thru the manual now,and it takes Type A - Suffix A tranny fluid........about 11 oz. after you drain all the old out. don-ohio (:^D
