I have a 1980 honda express in addition to a 1977 honda express. Do these have the same battery? I looked under the seat of the 1980 and there was no battery, nor was there anywhere to hook up the existing battery. There is a small silver cylinder with 2 posts on it, that may be a battery however i do not see anyplace to put the old battery. there is a little place for the silver cylinder however. This is a really strange thing to me. I have the service manual, but it it for years 1977-79. Is this silver cylinder the battery? Please help me.
