Check out your points inside the generator, are they opening and closing properly? Are they clean? When they open are they set at the right gap? if so, check out your coil see if it still has life in it. Is your generator wired to the motor? (i went through that problem myself) In the express manual, which you can find on this site, it tells you how to check on your coil. thats all I can thing of right now tell my how it goes.
