I bet you didn't contour the head

it's all in the how to install the big bore info page and other posts

the stock head is smaller in dia than the new bore/cylinder

you HAVE to contour the head out to the dia of the new bore and use a head gasket the size of the new bore

NOT a stock size head gasket
