They had installed a new inline filter and the carb did have a kit put in just before I got it from a shop in town. Their kids were driving it around for a few days and then it started this symptom and he gave up and was going to haul it away. I will check for any dirt in the passages, it acts like the automatic choke isn't working properly. I did shoot some carb cleaner down it. If I shoot gas into it it seems to keep running.
