the thing is it is the original throttle cable, it hasn't been touched. what i did was that the throttle was sticky, so i unscrewed the part of the cable that attaches to the handle bars and spayed WD-40 down it. then when i am screwing it back in i notice that the cable stays put instead of retreating back into the (whatever it is that it winds on inside the grip) and stays put. when u twist the grip back to its original postion the throttle valve is still full open and the twist grip is very easy to turn and there is a nasy click noise from inside the engine swich housing when it is turned. Mabe it came loose in the housing? i have not taked the cable off becuase i do not know how. i know how to take it off the carberator but not the twist grip end.
Thanks, hope this makes it clearer
Chris.
If i could just get my dang scanner going so i could post pics.
