..........that the float and needle valve operate properly,just that they are clean,right? When a float or needle valve or even the seat get corroded or leaky(float), you will get flooding. Re-read my post........does it flood and smoke when you DON'T shut off the petcock?
If you can easily blow thru the exhaust it isn't plugged. If it's a chromed exhaust, you can't char-broil it to burn out the carbon. If it's a steel exhaust just char-broil it over a barbecue, and then re-paint it after you shake all the carbon out. don-ohio
