I have a 1980 peugeot 103 moped that has sat for about 20 years inside. I cleaned the carb, installed new fuel shut off, new plug, fresh fuel mix. It runs but won't idle and I could not find an idle jet.Sometimes the engine just seems to race. When I try to adjust idle speed it dies out.The lights and horn work o.k. It runs about 20 to 25 mph. I would like to get about 30 to 35 mph out of it but first I would like it to idle.I also checked the point gap. It seems to be about .017.Is the idle jet just a tiny hole in the casting or is a removable brass piece?
