I just recently bought a 1980 Honda Express. It has a cracked battery and I want to see if it will even start before I put any time into it. I can not get a spark from the spark plug wire. The ignition is disconnected from the connectors so it is not grounding it out. What is the first thing I should check? I am very new to small engines, but I can pick it up pretty quickly. Can anyone help?
