Just got my 82 express back from the inlaws to run up and down to the mail box. It hadnt been started for a while , woulnt go full trottle so I spayed the carb with cleaner and found a little hose on the right side plugged . I guess it sucks air from the outside??? Seemed to fix it. I quess should put new oil in it since it sat for about 7 yrs. The airfilter element is deteriated so I took one out of a push mower and stuffed in there. Anyone know where I can get a replacement filter?? Or the material to make one??? I was the original buyer of the bike in 83. I only pd $428.00 for it right off the showroom floor. I see some for sale for more than that. This express takes me back to my high school days. Also are batteries available????? Its dead. I still have the original tires they are a little dry rotted though.
