Did you put in FRESH fuel? I have seen people try to start a `ped with old fuel with no results,but I am assuming you completely flushed and refilled the fuel?
If the spark arrives at the proper time,and there is an air/fuel mix, it should at LEAST fire.
If it's sucking fuel into the engine, it is not a crank seal.
I forgot whether you said you had cleaned out the muffler and exhaust port or not?
Keep trying, and be gentle with the wind-up starter on it as you do. Let us know how you get along? I hope you get her going.
If possible, since you have spark,check the timing of the spark, and make sure it's ocurring about 20 degrees or so BEFORE piston is at top-dead center. don-ohio (:^D
