      ......wrong with the ignition switch when you turn it to start, contacting a ground or NOT contacting at all?
      Or maybe the solenoid wire to ignition side is not making contact? i dunno, but I saw no one had answered so I thought I'd take a stab at it?
      Then too....if when you kick it, it turns over way faster than when cranked, it could be down low on compression really bad. Have you checked for spark while cranking it with the starter? don-ohio (:^)
