I was very disappointed with the way mystic river ended. I think Jimmy was such a dominate person that he persuaded dave (who was weak) to do the wrong thing that damaged his entire life. I wanted dave to get even at the end of the movie. I did not like the fact that Jimmy got away with murdering dave at the end of the movie. I wanted Jimmy to go to prison or someone (dave's wife or sean)should have shot him. At the end of the movie they made us think someone was going to kill him. But he got away with all the horrible things he did and he did not seem sorry about it.
