so really it doesn't matter what round you go

the only flaw being that a lot of those kids drafted later,4th to 15th round,didn't play their first year of eligibility ,played somewhere else like tier 2 etc. or sat the bench for a year or 2, and didn't receive good school packages.all information needed not just enough to prove a specific point.

You are correct and now with the new rules in place, majority of players drafted will miss their first year of eligibilty. That's life. Some players will be forced to make some tough decisions going forward.

Top OHL draft picks tend to be top NHL draft picks. Otherwise, doesn't matter much.

A lot of kids also develop late and come out of no where later on
