They has been a bunch of questions about the order of picks outside of the 1st round. This site doesn't have it listed in order, but you can see what picks each team does have. The order remains the same as the 1st round, so for example if Guelph had Sarnia's 2nd round pick, they'd pick 1st in the 2nd round.

Go to http://www.ohlgraphix.com/ and click on draft picks on the left hand menu. I'll do the 2nd round, if someone is really determined they can do the other 13 rounds. Sarnia and Oshawa have 3 picks in the top 24 and Sarnia has 4 picks in top 32.

21. Sarnia
22. Oshawa
23. Sarnia (from Mississauga)
24. Oshawa (from Erie)
25. Sault Ste Marie
26. Ottawa
27. Windsor
28. Owen Sound
29. Saginaw (from Belleville)
30. St. Mikes
31. Sudbury
32. Sarnia (from Saginaw)
33. Belleville (from Plymouth)
34. Kingston
35. Guelph
36. Barrie
37. Brampton
38. Kitchener
39. Ottawa (from Peterborogh)
40. Mississauga (from London)

What happens to a player if he is drafted 2nd round and does not make the team and his level of playing was not as expected?

They'd assign him to play junior B or midget and come back next year. Being a top 2 pick doesn't necessarily mean you'll play in the O in 06-07.

I think ISS has some major mistakes as to where the top kids are in the pecking order.

If Dellzotto goes first overall. How do you think that will affect the top ten picks?

If a boy, for example Hodgson, states publically that he is not going to play OHL but rather 'Junior A' and wait for college, will they still be picked in 1st round? If so - Why would an 'O' team waste their pick?
And good on any of the families that state it publically prior to the draft to save these teams from choosing a boy who has no desire to play in the 'O'.

What if he has a deal to go to an o team and it is all a smokescreen. I think the rules should be changed to forca aplayer to opt out of the draft if that is his intention. It will mitigate any sculdugery.

Should be Interesting

May 5 2006, 11:36 AM

It only takes one team to change their mind at the last minute and the whole thing reverts to plan B, has happened and will happen here tomorrow, there will be a surprise change in plans, watch and see. Teams pick on their needs, not what you think the best player is.

Crafty deception or trickery or an instance of it.
